Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how StadiumPlayer ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the StadiumPlayer mobile application for Android. We are committed to protecting your privacy. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Summary
StadiumPlayer is a media player only. We do not require an account, and we do not collect, upload, or sell your personal media data. The playlists, stream URLs, favorites, and watch history you create are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us or any third party by the App.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any account credentials.
- We do not collect, store, or transmit the stream URLs or playlists you add.
- We do not track which streams you watch.
- We do not maintain user profiles or sell data to data brokers.
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is saved locally on your device only (using on-device encrypted key–value storage) so the App can function. It is not accessible to us and is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data:
- Playlists and stream URLs you add or import.
- Your favorite channels.
- Your recently watched list.
- Your language preference and whether you accepted the usage disclaimer.
4. Information Processed by Third-Party Services
To provide core functionality, the App uses a small number of third-party services:
4.1 Advertising — Google AdMob
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC). To serve ads, AdMob may collect and process certain information automatically, such as device identifiers (including the Advertising ID), IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and operating-system information, and ad-interaction data. This processing is governed by Google's privacy policy. You can learn more and manage your choices here:
You can reset or limit ad personalization at any time in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads.
4.2 App Configuration — Supabase
The App reads a small, non-personal configuration record from our backend (hosted on Supabase) at launch. This record contains only operational settings, such as advertising unit identifiers and an optional promotional banner. This is a one-way read: no personal data, playlists, or usage information is sent from your device to this backend. As with any network request, our hosting provider may process your IP address transiently to deliver the response.
4.3 Language Detection — IP Geolocation
On the first launch only, to set a sensible default interface language, the App may make a request to a third-party IP-geolocation service (such as ipapi.co or ipwho.is) which returns your approximate country based on your IP address. The App uses only the resulting country code to choose a language and does not store your IP address. After your language is set once, this lookup does not run again. You can change the language at any time in the App's settings.
5. Permissions
The App requests only the permissions needed to play network media: Internet access and network-state access. It does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, precise GPS location, or files beyond what you explicitly provide.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising is configured to request non-personalized ads where applicable. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
7. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and others)
Because we do not collect or store personal data about you on our servers, we generally hold no personal information to access, correct, or delete. For data processed by third parties such as Google AdMob, you may exercise your rights directly with those providers. Depending on your location (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have rights to access, delete, or object to the processing of personal data, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. To make a request or ask a question, contact us at contact@stadiumplayer.club.
8. Data Retention
Locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it within the App, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App. We do not retain copies of this data.
9. Security
On-device data is stored using the operating system's app-sandboxing and encrypted local storage. Network requests use secure connections (HTTPS) where supported by the destination. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Users
The App can be used worldwide. Third-party services used by the App (such as Google) may process information in countries other than your own. By using the App, you acknowledge that such processing may occur in accordance with those providers' policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version at stadiumplayer.club/privacy. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
